About the Council
The Society’s bylaws stipulate a size of 9 Council Members, who must be LMCHK doctors and Full Members of the Society. Council Members are elected to 2-year terms at the Annual General Meeting. Three of the Council Members are elected as officers. The 9 current Council Members and honorary legal advisor are as follows:

Council Meetings
The Council formally meets on a monthly basis. A quorum consists of 5 Council Members of which 2 must be Officers. In addition, the Council's 9 members are in continuous contact via a dedicated messaging channel. New member applications are discussed and voted on usually once per month.
Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, the Council Members have met regularly via Zoom.
