The Society only accepts credit card for payment of the 400 HKD application fee (***the fee will increase to 500 HKD on 1 March 2023***).

Member classes

Full Members

Open to doctors that are fully registered medical practitioners in Hong Kong who hold the qualification of LMCHK. Only Full Members may vote and hold office.

Associate Members

Open to individuals that:

Passed the Hong Kong Medical Licentiate Exam (HKMLE), but are not yet fully registered in Hong Kong, or
Those actively studying for the HKMLE, or
Currently enrolled students from medical schools outside of HK that are interested in the HKMLE.

Honorary Members

Conferred under exceptional circumstances as a sign of respect and appreciation for significant contribution to the Licentiate Society or its members.

Corporate Members

Available to pharmaceutical, medical supply, health-related companies or companies engaged in other related business of good standing upon invitation of the Licentiate Society.
